I got my lights installed. I used 6- 36" double T5 lights. (1 for each tank). I wired them with separate plugs so I can control each tank individually and independent of each other through my apex. No wires will show when I'm done.

This is what I learned in my self taught basic wiring class.

HA HA I need to snake the wires through the wall before I can install the plugs

I have 4 of the tanks filled and running. Got the sump finished. Waiting for my Genesis Reef Systems renew and Storm for Auto water changes and ATO. I have this system on my reef tank and love it.

Waiting on Apex PM1 and PM2 to get everything online. I have 5 pair waiting to move in.

Looks awesome.. So you were originally using 10g tanks for breeding? What made you want to upgrade to 40's? I see you can split in have? Did you just want a lil more water volume?

You should definitely put some plexi glass or acrylic sheets in there to divide the tanks. Use a router to put grooves in it so the water can circulate through it and still make it too the sump. You can maximize the amount of clowns you have breeding by using less tank space per broodstock pair. Other then that though, the set up looks great, and wish you the best of luck on future rearing :)

Yes I will be dividing the tanks as needed. I did find that Krylon Fusion does not stick to glass submerged in salt water so I will be changing to plexiglass.

I am using 10 gal tanks running from my reef system. I'm building a separate system to lower salinity and raise temp.

Looks good. I like the clean set up. Was wondering how you were going to get skimmer in and out of the sump but realized that the lower shelf is grow out.
