Splitting or dying/dead?

Hi Everyone,

Picked this up recently and woken up to this, any idea if it's splitting or something else?

hi, yes looks to me splitting into 2 ,jmo.
 
It's hard to see in the photo but it's got a hole in it and you can see the plug, that's what worried me the most
 
that is how some split ,like ripping face apart, are you seeing any decay ?
 
It's hard to tell as it's so small, I assume the blue/purple bit is where its split it's mouth apart, if it's not then idk
 
I would just observe at this point ,don't move it ,let it do it's thing, anything worsens come back here for help... :)
