Sponge or bacteria? Treatments?

Not sure what's growing on my acan but it's making it unhappy. White fuzz at its base that I whipped off once already. If anyone has info on correct course of action it would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

I don't recognize the item but it seems small enough that it could be entombed in a blob of superglue gel to prevent it from continuing bother the acans.

Looks to be a sponge. You can kill it with hydrogen peroxide
