Looks like Randy got a little sun recently or has been spending to much time under the AI Prime lights :)

120 Nuvo SR barebottom Zeovit. Pic has 3 Prime HDs but I’ve since upgraded to 4. Love the spectrum on these lights. Had 2 Kessils running on 1/2 the tank and it was no comparison. Kessils looked like a funky green color compared to the full red/violet blue spectrum coming from the Primes.

I have one in my 20 gallon innovative marine step Down. I just started with some starters SPS. It's about 6-7 Inches above the water. Maybe I should raise it to 8"

I have 2 primes but they’re not hd. I used your setting mentioned except mine don’t go above 100%. Will the setting still work for the most part being at 100 and not 119 or 116?

Today we've got another LED Spotlight video and today, I'm detailing the AquaIllumination Prime HD!

Don't hesitate to share your Prime HD tanks with us and let us know how they are working for you.

Randy how high above the water would you recommend for a 10g nuvo fusion?

I would expect it to be pretty similar, maybe less intense peaks in the 400nm-450nm range. :)

8" seems to be a solid mounting height. You could always start higher, but really it may come down to what works best for your tank and the perhaps the amount of light spillage into the room.

Hey Randy just checked out you video. I just purchased the AI prime this morning. I have been doing to research to try and figure out what settings I should start out with. I have a Marineland portrait 5 gallon. Purchase the set up with a wave point super blue and 10k daylight LEDs. I don’t want to risk harming anything in my tank now. I have a BTA, 1 lps, and 1 sps. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hey all, I have an 18"x18"x18" cube tank with my AI prime HD currently ~10" above the water. I have two leathers, some zoas, mushrooms, and a yuma. I am wondering what the best spectrums and %s are for providing adequate lighting for my leathers without overpowering my mushrooms which are located towards the bottom of my tank. Thanks!
