Hi everyone I have a speciosa that has been a creamy color and recently it’s started to morph on one side to a blue color. The color is similar to an Oregon tort which I personally really like and hope it changes lol. Has anyone experienced something similar to this before?

Nothing that dramatic on existing growth....very cool. I read an article in Coral magazine talking about bleached portions of the reef turning blue like that as a form of protection. Not saying that is what this is, but definately interesting.

Very interesting read! I will keep monitoring it to see what happens to this acro. Oddly enough it’s only this coral that it’s happening to

This is pretty cool. Hopefully its a good thing!
I hope so too. It’s very vibrant during daytime so hopefully it develops more of the blue throughout. Here is a picture with the lights off. I’m thinking it might have something to do with a bacterial infection
