they are amazing, i wish one day ill have an acro crab in one of my colonies, but i dip everything that goes into my tank so thats a no go ,

IF U SEE ANY HAIRY CRAB U MUST REMOVE IT IMMEDIATELY CAUZ IT WILL KILL UR CORALS..........

They are great to have. They will eat trapped food, detritus, coral mucus, etc. In return for the food, they will defend the colony from pests and invaders of the colony. I've seen them snip at fish and other inverts that try to pick on the SPS.

Commensal crabs or Acro crabs. I have a Trapezia crab in my Milka Sytlophora and a Bandit in one of my other colonies. They primarily feed on the mucus of the coral. As long as the coral is large enough to support the crab there shouldn't be any issues. It looks like your colony is large enough not to be effected by the crab. They are fun to watch guarding their little palaces from wandering fish that get closer to the coral than they like.

I have a green hairy one in one of mine. Been there for a few months. Hasnt harmed anything but now you got me worried. I have a porcelain crab in every other Acro colony I have and like them. I always noticed the green one and although size is the same he looks different. What should i do
