A little something that has morphed into something special in my tank. :) Looked like a plain blue tenuis when I got it from a reefer taking down his tank 6 months ago. Pic taken with an iPhone 5 through a top down with no edit besides a crop on the first pic. Second is uncropped.

Man I'm so jealous ....I have a problem I get my sps and they do awsome for about a month and half and some some longer but most only last about a month and they do good then start to bleach out from the center out ....all my levels are 0 across the board ph 8.1 Kh 9 to 10 and calcium is around 480 ....is it possible my tank is to clean ? Not enough nutrients

Jackson, where are you from? Lol when that bad boy grows up I'd beg you for a small Clipping. What lights and additives ate you using in your system? And my big question, I've noticed a few things with sps colors and po4 readings are you around 0.06-.08 or are you ultra low with additives?

lol not too far from you. I'm in Queens. Lighting is a 400w radium+t5's. Additives are 2 part and kalkwasser. Sometimes I use prodibo biodigest and bioptim. I always run rowaphos. Oh yeah and I've been using acro power for 5 days lol My po4 was 0.0 today on a hanna low range meter (not egg checker). I'm usually between 0.0 and 0.3. I do agree colors get better with higher levels but i always got better growth at lower levels. Since this is a new tank (transfer from previous tank) I want rapid growth for now.

Nice man. Keep in touch. I'm always I'm Brooklyn. I'm gonna be ssetting up a 220 acrylic reef at my dads soon for him. Big crazy build. But I used to collect and bring in from all over the world. And lost everything after the hurricane. Never started back up. But in. The next year ill be running a small propagation system and I'd love to raise a frag of that stag..

I feel your pain. I'm 100 ft from the beach. Life changer. Sorry that you lost everything.
I just noticed the red polyps today looking down from the top. I'm curious to see what this piece will do over the next few months. I'm going to grow it for a while but when it's time to frag you'll hear from me ;)
