Wow this is what we beginner hobbies hope to have in the near future. Just need to keep doing my research and I know practice makes perfect. If at first you don't succeed then try try again. By the way awesome coral colors and same for the whole tank. [HASHTAG]#WOW[/HASHTAG]

That colony is not the Red Planet, its called, by a local here in town, Razmatazz, acropora hyacinthus. I have had the colony for about 2 years. It get vibrant pink corallites with white/pink skin at the tips, bright bright pink polyps throughout and a deep purple and green base skin color. The tips are almost orange as well. I have some frags for sale in a 6 pack or can sell them individually. I currently have 2 for sale, 1 for the 6-pack I have posted and 1 that has not been claimed if your interested. Thanks for the kind words. The right most frag in the picture is not claimed. The last pic is my Red Planet colony for reference :)

I use a custom built LED (3x ONYX fixtures I wired in series to a Coralux LED light controller on 3 diff channels) with a workhorse T5HO 2 bulb ballast running 2 T5HO Blue+ ATI bulbs (54w) that I retrofit into a old, refurbished and repainted and clear coated 54'' TEK Fixture someone threw out. Im pretty proud of my lighting haha, can you tell? John Chapman did the metal fabrication needed to fit the T5 and Onyx in the TEK fixture with enough room to allow heat to transfer properly and exit the fixture through holes we cut in the top to allow onyx fixtures to pull air from above. The entire thing stays super cool and runs very efficiently. Blue is at 90% white at 50% and UV/Red/Green at 75%, T5HO runs 11 hours, sunrise and sunset and my LEDS run 9 .5 hours in between sunrise and sunset ramping up to full power over 1.5 hours each way.

Very nice. Nothing wrong with being proud of your hard work.
