Thanks. This is just one branch off of a decent sized colony. It seems to be pretty hardy. I'm a little lose with my parameters, but generally run my alk at 7-8, cal at 450, Mag at 1350, PO4 is usually close to 0, nitrates < 5. All LED for the last few years, but just added T5 a couple of days ago.
I need to give this piece a try , how much Par is it under and do you give it a lot of flow?

This is my fav right now. I got as a cut to order from unique a while back, but only know is it picking up color. The pic doesn't really do the polyps themselves justice, they appear kind of electric blue IRL.

Love that milli!

Hopefully soon I'll be able to finally really contribute to this thread!

yeah the anacropora and the cb maleficent are the two I like the most cant wait to see them as large colonies.has yours been a good grower?

Yeah, mine grows like a weed. It gets maybe 300 par under a radion g4 running ab+. I've had it 2 years, it's, I dunno, maybe 10x6in at least. It's just a crazy mess of branches going every which way. It's not as nice and orderly like acros. It doesn't encrust, I think I could just lift the whole colony out. I've broken it every time I've fiddled with it. I've never seen it re-grow over stung/dead spots. Just keeps growing outwards.

That is a flower petal monti cap. I picked mine up locally in the browned out about to die bin. I saw a hint of blue and got it to see what i could get out of it. Glad I did.
So is the base blue or just the polyps? Seems like its really good polyp extension on it
