Sps frag and algae

Have you guys ever had an SPS win a battle with algae? I picked up a frag earlier this week in an attempt to save it, but the lower half of it is covered in algae. Polyp extension is great, however it's quite browned out too.

Yep. Lots of times.

Imo. Best to frag it. Get the algae out of the tank.

Cut the algae part out and let it heal.
