That should be your final position after you acclimate your corals. Start with them high and lower a little bit each week.

I only run 25% for SPS tank and my acros love it. Can't imagine started 45%.

I was advised by ecotech to start there based on how I was running my g1......

But I agree these things put out some serious power.......
