How quickly do sps corals grow? I'm trying my hand at them but I have no growth so far. I have a green slimer and a pink and green birdsnest frags. Polyp extension is good but it just seems like they're surviving, not thriving. What can I do to get them growing? They are in my 3 gallon under leds and in high flow areas.

Check your alk and calcium, they need alk and calcium to grow and will suck it up very fast.

High phosphates will prevent them from laying down their calcium carbonate skeleton, and hence keep them from growing.

You would be better off putting them in your 10 gallon. Where you already have good growth on other corals. I dont think I have ever seen someone have growth on an acro in a 3 gallon tank. your paramters swing too much in something that small.
