So I got this SPS as part of some live rock maybe 10 weeks ago and never saw any polyps on it so I assumed it was basically dead. When I got some frogspawn about 4 weeks ago I decided to use it as a perch since it basically seemed like a skeleton. Fast forward to today I and notice some polyps open on it for the first time!

Can anyone ID this SPS and give me some advice as to if it has some hope of coming back to life?
Also I assume the frogspawn will cause damage to it or at least the shading will be a problem and it should be relocated?

Thanks!

Its an acropora, and definitely in bad/ stalled condition, no way to ID,
Id frag off what you can and get said frags away from the euphyllia.

DO YOU THINK TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENTS ARE MORE HELPFUL OR HURTFUL TO REEFING?
