I recently bought two sps frags from my lfs but the employee was new and didn’t know anything about the frags. Does anyone have a good resource for identifying frags?

One option is to post a picture here for others to identify it.
Otherwise, it'll be pretty difficult to know where to start, but if you know it's an Acropora for example, then you can start googling it's description and go over the pictures in google.

Do people prefer photos under white light for identification or blues?

1. Acropora Milieapora
2. Possibly Acropora Rosaria
3. Acropora Milieapora
4. Red one - hard to tell from the pic, maybe Montipora Digitta?
5. Behind the red one - not visible enough.

Acropora rosaria was reclassified to A. loripes

I was going to say it looks much more along the lines of sarmentosa. Also I think most agree it’s still easy to tell the difference between rosaria and loripes, it’s not like the prostrata that showed almost exactly like some Mille and just had a bit different growth.
Use white light for id on corals. Aims is a good site to Reference when starting but I would not suggest using google to learn how to id sps.
