Hi all my tank as been running for around 4 months now I just added my first sps to it about a week ago and seems to be doing pretty good . The polyps are out and seems to be liking it so far I was just wondering if it’s too soon to add more or wait a month or so too see how it does befor adding more ?

I’d wait at least a month for more sps. Go ahead with some lps while you’re waiting. My tanks seem to do well with them at 4 months. I’ve had mixed luck early with sps. They look good for a little while and slowly fade away. It can happen.

Which sps did you get?

I added acros about 2 months in with my tank. I lost 2 when nutrients bottomed out about 2 months later but other than that everything’s done well.

I noticed when I had coraline growing my acros started really growing and I wouldn't loose any new ones
