I’m looking for acro keepers’ experience with ozone.

How did the corals react to it?

Where there any improvements or detriments?

Did the colors or growth change?

I think @WWC recently started using Ozone! I think!

So, a couple of things to start off with.
Firstly, I have a mixed reef but only recently has started to become a little bit more skewed towards SPS. I’ve recently added four Milliporas a few smooth skinned acro and four other acros.
Secondly, I’ve only been reefing for about a year and so am far from an expert.

Having said that, I run ozone at night, through my skimmer, pinned to an ORP reading of 375.
As well as the improvement in water clarity, I can say that my new additions, mentioned above, have all started basing out and mainly showing nice polyp extension.

From the month ago when they were added until now, I can’t see any negative effects at all.

Hope that helps.
