I agree that I think everything is probably ok. My Red Planet and then also Pink Lemonade have taken time to develop. I am probably about at the same 8 month time frame. The frags have covered almost two inch squares but are just starting to go up! I also a month ago did lower the flow in the tank a little and this has seemed to help.

Many acros will encrust and lay down a base before they start to branch. Red Planet and Pink Lemonade are both known for such.

I may be the miniority opinion here, but I don't think anything is wrong; coloration and polyp extension look are good. They just need time.

your are showing good color, good polyp extension, the base is growing.

Your frags are doing there thing! Keep up what you are doing and give them time. My red planet and pink lemonade behaved the same way. My RP now has a 4" horizontal branch in about 1-2 months and my pink lemonade continues to encrust.

Give em time and enjoy the ride. Dont love em too much, just let em do there thing. Too many changes and adjustments may just slow the process.

My 2 " Red Planet frag went into my system 7 months ago. Not only did it not grow out from the existing branches it formed new ones instead of growing out of the existing branches. All of this while encrusting to a 3 inch radius. Yours is fine. Although it may simply be too close to some of those Zoas and Palys.

Thanks guys. I guess I'm just really impatient.

I'm not the biggest stick fan. But occasionally one will catch my fancy.

Thanks everyone for your feedback.
