I got 2 sets of SPS frags one is doing fine but the others don't look so hot. It's been about 2 weeks since I received them. One of the STN pretty much to death. The remaining 4 look alive but not improving. I noticed some green algae with small bubbles growing on the plugs around them. Possibly this is effecting them negatively? Any suggestions?

Thanks

A little algae never hurt anything. Do you have other established acros in this system?

Not really. I had 3 "tester" SPS that were doing well and growing for almost 2 months. Then when I felt comfortable and spent like a $1000 on some nicer ones they started to STN. :/

This hobby loves to troll me. The only changes I've done was adding a small bag (25g bag in a 200g system) of Chemipure elite because I saw phosphates elevated to .17. The first week they dropped from .17 to .1. Now, the second week, they tested at .07. I went ahead and removed the Chemipure Elite today.

Also, the other frags I purchased 2 weeks ago seem to be doing ok.
