Is it normal to only have polyp extension at night? I thought something was wrong with mine until seeing them at after lights off.

This being said how do I get them to come out during the day?

Not all species will have PE with light during day time. To be honest, I look for the Acropora that do exhibit PE during light but I have had luck with some Acro by dosing pytho, KZ AcroPower, KZ Coral Booster and having pH above 8.0. I feed heavy on the flakes as well for the fish. It does appear that having food in the water column does entice PE. I also have a lot of pumps and moving water so flow is likely to be essential too.

My WD didn’t exhibit a lot of PE until I found the regimen that worked for me. Adding pumps also seemed to get me there.

I was dosing redsea AB+ during the day as I did read to entice it to dose and feed during the day. That being said I never really saw anything but I did notice more growth in my SPS.

I currently am out of the AB+ but I have reefroids, do they do anything to benefit them?

Reef roids for sps? I think no difference according to a tidal garden’s video. It does raise phosphates so sps will indirectly benefit from that.
