System is 75 gallon 2 yrs old. Stable growth with ATI Essentials two part. System changes in past three weeks are went through a alk swing back when I stopped dosing Kalwasser. Couldn’t keep alk level stable. So went back to just the two part. System also doses amino acid 6ml a day. Ran out of amino around same time as alk swings. Noticed some stripping on a few sps like Miyagi Tort and WWC yellow tip. Performed water change and symptoms seemed to stop. Now I have some millipora starting to strip but it’s from the middles not tips and from the bottom. So I checked stray voltage and it .3-.5! So not that! Also started dosing amino acids again as soon as they arrived. Did run some GFO but a 1/4 the recommended amount to lower phosphate once to remove some algae from display. Since removed GFO. Also added filter socks previously run to polish display water. Is this all just to many changes!!!??? So I have put system back to the way it was working flawlessly for the past 9 months without socks and no Kalwasser. Should I let it run it’s course and hope it stops!?

Parameter are as follow
Alk-7
Cal- 400
Magnesium- 1560 always this high! Never an issue.
Nitrate- 5 to 10
Phosphate- .03-.07

Also dipped three different frags to see if they had any pests. Didn’t find any kind of pest in the water or on the frags.

Will also be sending out my 4 month icp test.
Thanks for the help on Christmas Eve! And hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!

I stopped reading after alkalinity swing. Gotta keep that alkalinity stable.

All you can do now is stop making changes. Keep everything as stable as possible and ride out the death wave as I call it.

I'm currently in a death wave myself. I feel your pain.

I would increase your alk to the med 8 range and then stabilize as scorpius recommended. 7 is pretty low, I start seeing issues if my tank gets that low.

System has always run at 7 now issues. All started after alk rose to 9.5 over 3 days and back down again over 3-4 days. Now the issues. So trying to keep it at 7 like it’s been for the past 2yrs.

Everything you mentioned seems fine except personally I don't like to do too many waterchanges unless you really suspect something has polluted the water. I say this because acros nearly always STN for some change that did not suit them well and making waterchanges always changes the ionic balance. IME alk swings and nutrients swings are always prime suspect, but having too much light can also cause STN. Let it run its course you tank is mature it should regrow
