SPS Tiles?

I'm looking for something to grow out some sps frags on. I want to use them to grow colonies on for fragging in my grow out frag tank. I have frag racks in the frag tank but they are the standard plug and would rather not grow out colonies on plugs.

Does anyone know of anything people use to grow out sps colonies?

Ive used those too. Cut them down on my wet saw to 1.25" plates. I fragged a bunch of birds nest on them and the seemed to encrust pretty fast but that could have just been my priams.

Are they ready to go as is or do I need to cure first?
