Sps turning green

I just got this frag from another reefer and it’s starting to turn green. The original color was pink and I believe it’s a fruity pebble sps coral. Any ideas?

Sometimes acros color down after a move and take a few weeks to a couple months or so to color back up

Not enough light possibly. What do you have that under? How much par?

I've also had an issue with some 'greening' in my acros. I've got a bit of a younger tank but seeing growth and encrusting on the older sticks I've had since July.

I *think* my issue might be light, though I've heard about the settle in period. Most of the corals that have fluorescent green now came in undercolored or brown, so I sort of marked it as improvement lol

they are under a radion xr15 with some reef brights. I haven't checked my par levels since I got the reef bites. My tank is a Red Sea 200xl

yea I see growth also but color is not great. Phosphates were above .20 and that was because I was afraid of using gfo as I put to much in my other tank and got Dinos. I am using gfo now in this tank and phosphates are 0.07

They look pretty happy to me. Some acros take a long time to acclimate and will lose color before they take off.

I’ve seen several browned out acros turn green before coloring up.

I also have xr15s. From what I've read, they're notorious for putting out lower par. Could be your issue, I suspect it might be mine but I have no par meter to confirm

Yeah, I have a refugium that keeps my nitrates around 2, but I have to use GFO or my phosphates just keep climbing.
