LOL!! It's not a 1950's slate bottom tank! I believe thats what I was told. We'll see when it arrives :)

I think their tanks have pvc bottoms which would make it lighter. Do you know if that's right?
 
Your right with the Phantom Bottom but I went with the standard bottom so it's all glass.

Got some photos to share that Felix from Reef Savvy shot during some of the build process. Im stoked! 48"x36"x20" Peninsula Style System, .75" standard glass, 24" Ghost Overflow, Standard Bottom.

Nice looking tank. Can't wait to see it on your beautiful stand. I am not to sure about the Christmas lights though. Lol....JK nice job.

Thanks! The Christmas lights are a unique look and definitely serve it's purpose also gives it a modern feel.
