spspirates 150 gallon build

I finally found what I needed on another site and one pic of the piece like you posted was all I could find. Mine are white though. Mine is definitely silent. Standing next to the tank I can't hear a thing.

Awesome! Do you have a build thread I'd like to check it out!?

Not for this tank I don't. Plan to start a new thread soon for all my tanks and more coral pics. I've got an old thread that you've commented in before.

Did you purchase a Reef Savvy or just the Ghost Overflow?

Meh...I refuse to look at this thread again until there is water in this tank...maybe...

Intermission photos. These are two pics I took from my old reef of the Jason Fox Crazy Fox and The GOW chalice.

I'll be running a Deltec APF800 for the initial start of the reef. Plans are to get the ATB 1050 in the near future.

OK back from vacation! And skimmer is in! Used Deltec APF800 rated for 250 gallons so should do me fine for a while until reef bio load becomes greater down the road.
  • technical data - APF 800
  • dimensions (l/w/h) /mm - 280x210x610
  • power consumption - 12 Watt
  • airflow - 600 litre/h
  • height under outlet pipe 9.7 inch
  • Suggested pump supply 1200 Lt/hr
  • Inlet 20mm / Outlet 32mm
  • high stocking – 800 L
  • normal stocking – 1000 L

Omgggggggggg that looks awesome !! Love it bud. If you can get some led pucks to place on the ceiling on your stand. That's what we have going .

Thanks man! It's a sweet look and a solid skimmer. I'm glad I was able to score it from a local reefer.

That skimmer looks great in that sump! Looks tiny in there too. Your getting ever so close to filling this beast! Need to get some free time and come check it out.

I am not regretting at all going with this beast and I know in the future when you get yours you will be happy with it too!
