SPStoner's Marineland 200 Deep Dimension

[mpoletti]

Good stuff Tony, but I have seen all of those pictures before
Welcome to R2R and remember, BAYMAC or bust ;)

[Sikryd]

This is too funny! Its pretty much the same as the one I am in the process of building.

Same lighting, ballasts, schurran reactor (borrowing from a buddy for a while), MSX 250 - going to Bubble King Vertex 200 though, ect.

I guess I should ask if there is anything you would do differently?

I'm calling Marineland today to see if they'll do a custom with an external overflow, or if I'll have to order it without and add one from glass cages.

Very nice Tony. Awsome setup, and love your fish.

Awesome! I love it. I have the same tank. I really like your aquascaping and coral placement. I love the amount of acans you have, love those corals. You have some nice pieces and like me, you are just waiting for things to grow out a bit. I will be following this build thread!!!

[SPStoner]

Thanks, everyone, for the kind words! I am really liking this website quite a bit, lots of friendly people, and I love the casino page as a reward for posting. A nice way to pass free time at work, or while travelling, and it is nice to see that my luck is just as bad there as in real casinos:smile:

By the way, I am accepting donations of your unused casino cash. I'll even trade frags:bigsmile:

Sara- Did you catch those Bellus yet?

Mark- If I had your photography skills, I would have new pictures up all the time! I get one passable image for every 50 or so I shoot!

Sikryd- The only thing I would do different is to have a way to mechanically lift the canopy. It is huge and not a one person job. I have found that getting to the bottom, back of the tank is impossible without the canopy off. I would also have left more room behind the tank so I could get back there to do maintenance. By the way, Marineland can do external overflows.

What are the last two acro's pictured?

We need some more pics. ;)

Nope, just ordered up the trap today from DFS. Someone suggested maybe I just pull the guilty female and replace her ... that's an idea I didn't think of! Today she sampled my Beakerbob Flying Saucer ... bad fish!

Those are the Aussie Real deal Echinata from liveaquaria, and the Starwberry Shortcake Aussie, also from DFS>

Working on more pictures soon!

They are both beautiful pieces.

One more question to bug ya with... Is that a gorgonian I see all the way in the back center of the tank?

[LegoZ81]

Yet another nice tank! Good work!

Yes, I got that one like 7 years ago as a 1" frag from Chris Turnier at Reefermadness. It is HUGE now, like 14+ inches, and has been fragged multiple times.

Thanks, and I agree! I think the new smaller cubes they are making are even cooler.
