Squamosa x Hippopus hybrid?

I got this clam in today as a Squamosa and it sure has Squamosa markings on the mantle. But the shell says otherwise....

Top down.

The shell isn't elongated like a Squamosa of this size ether...

No teardrop opening like a Squamosa of this size would have...

I am curious as well. I think I have the same exact clam which I bought about a month ago, and I had problems Iding it!
