Setting up a pico on my desk, but I’m conflicted on either the square tank or the rectangle. The choice is what fits better, will be easier to light with an ai prime, flow, aquascape, and what will be easier to workin with my hand (glueing/fragging corals.

This will be only high end zoas and mushrooms, so a very simple easy tank. I have a unique plumbing system for pico tanks that I developed that has a herbie drain. I will run the tank to a sump cabinet under my desk.

Also I don’t care about salt creep in the monitors they’re old and cheap haha.

I like the square but I wouldn't put either of them there, especially with a light over them.

Because of the glare. I work from home though so I just prefer nothing but a keyboard and mouse between the monitors and me.
Yeah I get that. I’m going to make a shade on the prime that concentrates the light cone a bit more to focus in on the tank as much as possible. I also finish work on my computer usually by about 10am so I’m going to start my schedule around that time.

They make a nice shade for the 16hd. I got mine on ebay.

Which one did you end up going with? Is that 3 gallon long? I also want to get the same exact one. Can I see your set up please? :)
