No Skimmer

Skimmer was removed 2 years ago. I believe my colander setup is actually “foam fractioning” as efficiently or better than my old stand alone, noisy, power consuming skimmer. I’ll add some pics when I change the poly mat this week.

I am quite impresed actually. Your DIY solution is doing pretty much the same job as a skimmer you say, well done. And also you do have some fish, so the load is not small.
