Hey all i just wanted to share my tank and some pictures that i took tonight. Some people have asked me to get pictures up, i usually use my phone (haha) so i borrowed a digital camera and took some shots tonight.
I've had my tank since the 28g came out but i have taken it down 3 times. Moving etc etc. Within the last 10 months i have upgraded equipment and have been buying/trading corals. I dont have a lot of super growth yet because ive been fragging all my growth to aquire new corals. I think this would be a great place to show my progression shots in the future.

I hated the stock hood on the 28g, i always had heat issues etc etc. I upgraded to a Lumenmax 3 pendant, lumatek 250w ballast, and a radium 20k.
Since its open top and i have a fan running over the top, my tank runs 2-3 degrees cooler than with the 150w hood. I have a tunze osmilator to help with the evap, looking to get a 1/10th chiller for the summer.
I don't dose. Until last week my levels have always been pretty steady, with 25% w/c a week but my corals are starting to really take off and my levels are starting to deplete. Im starting to dose with Brightwell Aquatics supplements. I use a tunze nano doc 9002 skimmer. Have some chaeto and rubble rock in back w/ fuge light. thats about it!

Thanks all!! I've just been trying to stock it well before i let it grow out.

Thanks jeremy! me too! i think within 3-4 months my rocks will be covered. I get pretty decent growth.

Ya this is one of my least favorite tanks in the world and mine is way cooler ;) haha jk Austin. Tank is awesome!! It looks better in person, i need to catch up and start buying more corals!

haha no i didn't trade my kahonies! i have been collecting for a while now, it takes time and once you get the growth is when it pays off.
I'am taking pictuers right now will get updates on growth in next couple hours.

I really need to get a camera soon, im using a point and shoot but my curved front is horrible for pictures. I did some rock work re-arranging on the bottom right side and i got some new pieces. Wasn't able to get good enough pictures of everything but heres some update.

Thanks very much! i love the rock work too. Remember this is like my 5th time setting the same tank up so i have worked off old rock works. I think it is best now, but i do wish i had bigger pieces of rock. There are about 15 smaller pieces all stacked and puddied together.
