Everything seems to be fine.

Stopped in New Canaan on my way home from work and dropped by Life Aquatic. Grabbed a fresh API Reef Master test kit. Look at that expiration date! [emoji12]

Also grabbed a quarter size frag of a monticap on the cheap!

Also, the carpet is officially on the move... Maybe the temp swing? Always get nervous when it starts moving.

Was able to make a nice frag of the best growing sponge. Just glued it to a rock.

Of all the 5 or so macros I collected this red very fine / whispy algae is the only one I can say is growing. It seems to be a home for many pods. In the first photo you can see white dots, every one of these are crawling aroubd. PE mysis floated convenient ly into the shot for scale.

The reactor only has filter floss in it. Deciding on a way to return the water so please excuse the temp work.

May have messed with the leather coral just a bit too much. It had become dialogued from its spot, I put two rocks on each side and put a rubber band around. Well, this thing fragged itself into ten pieces in response. Placed each around the tank, but I guess it is possible to tick off your leather coral to the point it will frag itself.

Got a pair of Red foot moon snails from exotic fish and corals in Milford.

Also got this tiny hammer frag that I just mounted. Love watching sump frags color up!

Also picked up some LPS food, my Duncan gobbled a bunch up.

Tank updates:

cyano starting, not bothering anything. Feeding smaller meals in turn
Keeping up with mechanical filtration changed twice a week.
Got a dosing pump, dialing it in at the moment.

I can officially say all Skip's corals have settled and are open polyp full time now. Only the blue acro was the hold out but I realized when I took photos how hard those polyps where to see the in person.

Photos!

Tank update: been diligent with mechanical filter changes. Algae scrubber is growing well. DIY skimmer also working well. Anemone growing fast, corals good. Tests good, all systems smooth...
