If it is glued in, you'll need to remove it and the bulkhead and replace. Making a Herbie is easy. There are a bunch of how to's.
Don't skimp on the valve.

Get a gate valve. Even if you need to get a cheaper brand. Sometimes a 64th of a turn is needed for a silent, perfect, flow. Gates do that.
Yeah it’s all glued ill
Mess with it this weekend for now I did fix the issue temp. And it’s going well

Who in there right mind glues in stand pipes? How do you remove them if a fish jumps bacjk there, or god forbid you need to clean back there.

I would replace the entire thing, just for the ease of removal, and definitely set it up as a herbie overflow.

The air relief should be sitting about here. The goal being that it holds it out of the water until it is almost up to your emergency, Then it will close once water goes of it and pull a full safe in. You can use a zip tie loosely fitted around it.

Good idea. It’s not causing me any issues right now using a zip tie is a good idea. But I mines well fix it right when I get time this weekend.

You don't want it down in the pipe. It can't do it's job there
Yeah I’ve noticed making some changes it just sucks the water from the tube down the Main drain pointless doesn’t make sense on this set up haha also the pvc the previous tank owner used was 3/4 pvc that’s pretty small???

I'd plumb it with 1" if the bulk head holes allow.
