star wars

The lack of sound when Holdo rams Snokes fleet at light speed in the Last Jedi was one of the best special effects in a movie theatre I have ever experienced, you can almost hear everyone mouth a whisper of holy s.... in the silence.

Sometimes less is way more

As cool as that scene was. I hated it. It's next the "I don't like sand" scene. Not because it was visually displeasing, in fact it was amazing, but that scene broke star wars physics and lore.

I guess I understand that some people don’t like the direction Disney is taking the series, but do we really need more of 1-3. Whatever keeps movies like that from being made, I’m happy to deal with. My wife almost refuses to acknowledge the first 3.

I should’ve also mentioned, she walked down the aisle to the imperial death march, we named our dog Chewbacca, and if our newest addition is a boy, he’ll be named Luke, although she claims it’s not because of Star Wars.

I have a coworker who has never seen Star Wars. She accidentally saw Rogue One because she didn't know what it was and her friends were going. She has, on multiple occasions, mistook Star Trek for Star Wars. My coworkers and I once got her to watch The Princess Bride and she hated it, said it unfunny and boring. I honestly don't know how to interact with her.

I saw the original 7 times when it came out....then i had to have the whole bedding set for my room. I had an x-wing fighter, A-wing fighter. and other stuff. wish i still had all the toys that i got.

Don't. You don't need that kind of negative energy in your life! LOL!

I mean, honestly, who doesn't like the Princess Bride? Inconceivable!

Saw New Hope at the theater when is was 13. Been a huge fan of star wars ever since. Of all of the latest movies, Rouge one was the best.

Disney, in my honest opinion has trashed the star wars franchise, big let down.

Empire strikes back was and is the best of all of them!

I worked at a movie theater when episode one came out. The hype around that movie and the excitement was amazing. Of course it didn’t live up to it, but was still an experience I remember vividly. We all made sure we secured an extra poster. I remember being behind the concession stands as the theme music started and bolting from my post to go get a glimpse. I was able to catch the midnight showing that night. I enjoy them all, some more than others though.

Hated the princess bride! I’m not sure it’s possible to interact with a coworker of such nature......

shun her!!!!!!!!

I can clearly remember my friends and I seeing the commercial on TV before the very first star wars came out, and we laughed at it cause the commercial made it look so corny, and we were like, that's gonna bomb!

Never could we imagine the hoopla that followed.

I remember driving around hearing people blaring the soundtrack on their car stereos!

I loved it until Jar Jar binks arrived, they should have wasted him to save that episode!

I number the movies episode 1 - infinity, as when they are made. The first the best, the second best the second best, they fall from there.

The first movie I ever saw was "A New Hope". I was 7 years old.

When the they first showed the Millennium Falcon in The Force Awakens, I wept...

Just got a little tear in my eye just now.

I tear up every time the theme song plays regardless of which movie. I was born at the right time, saw Ep4 when I was 8, one of my friends had the bed sheets, blueprint book, action figures and even a record of the soundtrack. He had seen the movie 9 times and this was when it first came out.

I just put together a few models and did some artwork.

I'm enjoying the Disney ones, not as much as the original 3....remember the ORIGINAL 3....Lucas kept on upgrading them, haha. I have a VHS set of the three after the original cleanup.

My wife is also a Star Wars geek...but not as much as me. She got me into Firefly though.
