Anybody ever glue or silicone a layer of sand to Starboard to give it the appearance of sand , I like the look of sand but I'd like to up the flow on a new setup without sand blowing everywhere. If so what would (did) you use?

I haven't done it, but I would think a thin layer of aquarium sealant covered with sand would work.

Carib sea Special grade ;)

I went bare bottom but after 2 years im going back to sand for multiple reasons.
Imo the glued sand would only look like white sand and last until it got spotted in coraline. 6 months tops.
