Hi Everyone! I’m new to this forum. I have a saltwater tank and we recently got a small red starfish. He has been curled up in the corner for two days and the hermits and shrimp are all over him. Is he dead? is there a way to find out?

Is it possible that you can pick it up with gloves?

If you are able, usually if they are alive the tentacles are moving on the body, if not, touch them.

If they don't move, it is usually because they are dead.
