Ok thank youEvery 6 weeks or so I'll give mine a small chunk of a brine shrimp cube. I just pick him up when he's on the sand and quickly place it under him and put him back down. He'll sit in place for the rest of the day munching on it. Otherwise he just eats algae that grows on the glass and rocks
I tried and that didn't workUse some tweezers and put a piece of krill/ mysis underneath one of its legs.. they'll usually taste it then pull it in by their mouths as long as you're not too forceful... you can do this once/ week if there isn't a whole lot else for them to eat in the tank
Ochre starfish.Do you know the name of that sea star?
Thank you that's why it stripped all my mussels off the rockwallIt appears it's predatory on slow snails like chitons and limpets and bivalves. Shrimp are not in its diet.
