After a few days life leaves the live rock.
I suspect it's a red linkia?
So far from latest live rock

2x pencil urchins
1x starfish
1x large bristlestar
1x acro crab

I'll give it a try if it's still out on the glass.
This was the first time I've seen it.

You'll probably need clearer pics under whiter light for a solid ID (removing the star from the tank in a bowl of tank water may help; if you can't get it out, shining a flashlight on it may help too), but that doesn't look like a Linckia sp. from what I can see.
