Been looking for one. Had a nice one at my favored LFS but some chap got there ahead of me ...... grumble. There were two on DD today, but of course I was busy at work and didn't check in in time ..... double grumble. Clearly there's some kind of conspiracy afoot.

They do go fast, very fast. I've tried a bit last year to get a trio but no luck. LA/DD mail alerts - fail. I'm a turtle running with a bunch of faster rabbits. Maybe it was the prescription I was on at the time of Milk, Cream, and Alcohol...

But seriously I've come to the conclusion that they are seasonal for some reason. I only see them a couple times a year but don't treat my words has gospel. Last ones I saw blue zoo had.

The one at my LFS was stunning, but had a sticky on the tank that said 'sold to frogman'. Seriously, 'frogman'? Not even a real person I'd wager. They're clearly out to get me ..... probably saw me coming and slapped the note on in haste. Frogman ...... Sheesh. As the great philopsher Bugs Bunny said, just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they ARENT out to get you .....

Edit - maybe it wasn't Bugs 'of course you realize this means war' Bunny ..... just seems like something he'd say LOL.

That is double the typical asking price, wow. I usually find them anywhere from 30 - 35 dollar range but then again if that is all that is around...

How do you know when they put fish up for sale?

One would think they know what is coming then look at who submitted email notifications, then mass email to give people a shot :( I have the email notification for Starki and also the Milletseed butterflyfish. And I always thought or think no one wants the Milletseed's yet I never catch one. I bet @ca1ore is also hording those!!!! :D

You can subscribe to a DD sneak peek email that comes a few hours before they release the daily items. Not 100% accurate, but pretty close. If I see something I want and is likely to go fast, I make sure to be at my computer at 6 pm ET all prepared to checkout. Doesn’t happen all that often and some folks are faster than me, but if I remember I generally get what I want.

They have been trickling in on DD lately.. watch all next week and I would think some may show up yet. Just got to hop on the computer before 4pm and refresh like a mad man waiting... and make sure your shipping/cc info is saved on your account. Don't wait for the email.... that email sends out after the fish have been up 10 min or so.

regular LA (non-DD) had some in.. I hovered on the page, thought I didn't need to risk the aggressiveness, then thought what's life without some risks, refreshed and they were gone. A great outcome!
