I'm in the process of upgrading my 26 gallon tank to a 60 gallon. I have a 4" starry blenny who is a major player in the 26 gallon. I've read that they'll harass fish with the same body shape. There's plenty of rockwork for the blenny to perch on in the new tank and he eats frozen food and nori off of a clip. He's definitely a chow hound and already uses his size to get in the faces of my two clownfish. I wouldn't say he's awfully threatening but he's always first to the food. I have the luxury of having the 26 gallon up and running for as long as need be so I could add him anytime in the stocking order. Do you think I'll have any issues adding one of the sand sifting gobies to the new tank? If so, which would be the best choice and in what stocking order?

Here he is on his clip begging for nori:

Those sand sifting will die , blennies are nasty to other fish that has the same body shape , I learned my lesson no more blenny for me

I have several gobies of different types living with a fully grown starry blenny never one issue they all get along great.

I never had a starry blenny but none of my blennies ever harassed my sand sifting gobies (Valenciennea genus). They are bottom dwelling fish and, in my experience, would only cause a conflict if theres another sand sifting goby.

I would add the goby first, wait until its adjusted and working (sifting) and add the blenny last of them all.
