Would it make sense to start these guys in the sump with no competition so they can acclimate and perhaps reproduce before hitting g-pop?

I don't think I have any fish that would bother them, but I'm trying to eliminate ALL of this stuff. I can get it cleared in the display but then it comes back. Sump is getting heavily infected.

My fish are the following
2 clowns
Royal gramma
Blue hippo tang

I did this with about 10 Berghia’s and never saw most of them again as they all disappeared into my refugium.

I’m sure a few of them ended up getting sucked into the skimmer, and the amphipods in the fuge likely devoured any eggs laid. I was ultimately able to pull 2 into my DT when I harvested Chaeto/Caulerpa a couple months later.

Your fish shouldn’t be a threat to them, and they’ll largely be doing their work at night when the fish are asleep.

How many do you think I need for a 75 gallon display?
