Starting my pro clear 90 v2

starting out with the aquascape. Hoping to get a couple opinions on it. Going to use the caribsea arag-live Fiji pink sand. Other than that I will post pictures along the way and seek advice from time to time.

I like the aquascape!

Nice scape. I would add one more arch across the top in the middle. That would set it over the top for me plus give the fish one more cave/hiding place. I’ve got a pro clear 60 v2 I set up 3-4 months ago. Will follow your build!

I have a jbj 45 rimless with another arch in it that I’m going to add. I 100% agree with you.

I’m trying to figure out if I should sale my Radion xr15 pro G6 and get 2 of the AI prime hd16 or keep the light I have now
I am not 100% sure or not but I don’t think the XR15 would cover this entire tank with a decent sheet of light. I would look up the coverage spread of both lights but in my mind without looking I think you would get more out of 2 primes on coverage. Reefbreeders photon used would be in the same price range and would be something to consider as well.

Finally got the water in last Saturday and added some turbo start. Got the filter socks out while it is cycling. Checked the water the last 2 day and the ammonia is coming down. It was @ .09 yesterday. Will check it again Saturday. All in all everything is going ok. Finally got my RODI up and running and plan on making my own saltwater. The lid and the bubble madness skimmer will be here Friday.

Got everything switched over from the other tank and picked up a breeding pair of clown fish today. Everyone looks happy. Will be getting a cleanup crew tomorrow from a friend of mine.
