Mine is 1.5" square tube, 11 gauge (1/8", 0.125").

Plenty strong enough.

None here. Tank's on carpet, want to spread the load as evenly as possible. Adjustable feet only work on hard surface.

Top 3"x 1/4" sides and bottom 2"x1/4".
Open design with no center support.
Coated with POR15.

16 ga is strong enough to hold up the wall of your house. 10 or 12 gauge would be plenty beefy. Anything more than that is overkill.

No kidding. Especially considering the recent price hikes... The best steel tube to use now is whatever you bought 3 months ago!! haha (ouch)

If someone wants to fork out the cash for 1/4", have at it! It always nice to know your stand can hold a literal ton of weight.

I did just that. I braced my floorm took a window out to get my stand in my house. I would feel just fine putting a car on it.

In the whole scope $100 for 3/16 steel vs $67 for 1/8 steel in insignificant.
