I'm assuming my aussie gold finally touched my Miyagi tort, the bottom has turned white. I haven't really dealt with stn on large colonies, are there any suggestions to help the tort, or is the damage already done and the tort will heal if it's not stung again?

Nothing else in the tank looks to be unhealthy, no known pests.

In my experience larger SPS that are healthy, provided parameters are in check and no pests are present, and provided that the stinging animal is moved, can recover and will regrow tissue over the portion that has been stung and died off.

I have not had luck chopping a piece like that and then re-gluing the portion that still has tissue present.
