Hey everyone! What is this area on my stylo? I added this large colony on December 28th 2022 so it has not been in my tank that long. is this STN starting to happen? Nothing has changed to my knowledge. Below are my parameters to help as well. For the most part most of my corals just do not seem happy. I have a big red goni that won’t extend. Some Acrons that are not happy, just a mix. Torch coral is splitting and happy and some other sps growing but just not happy with the way things look. Advice?? Flow? Lighting?
Nitrate- 40
Phos - .15
Mag -1350
Calcium -450
salinity - 1.025
Temp -77
alk-6.8
ph-7.8
Average par near most corals is 100-120 at peak hours of the day using a photon 48 reef breeders. Any help would be great! I am fighting high nitrate and phos. Fug and algae scrubber still no luck. I’m running gfo to help with phos. Maybe the GFO is causing corals to not be happy? I have a pic and video below. I am not dosing anything. Thanks everyone!
