Stocking a 75 Gallon

Looking for advice on some reef safe unique fish for my 75 gallon. Seems everything I like are not reef safe :)

Never had a foxface cause i have only had 4ft tanks and foxfaces get kinda big

i would skip puffers 95% of them get too big and really need a 6ft+ tank

Seahorses and pipefish? Although that would take a dedicated tank, I guess. Along those line, an angler? A Marine betta probably wouldn't need a dedicated set-up. Are you worried about your corals or your CUC? I really like oddball fish and have a 75. I never found anything that felt reef safe enough. I love my basic filefish and ORA sells pygmy filefish that sounds ******. I was considering a fox face, but once I saw how big they get, it sounded upsetting to watch one in a standard 75

Tangs and clowns are usually considered reef safe. I have a sailfin, tomini, 3 yellows, and a blue hippo, none are eating corals.

In a 75 you are going to be limited to the kinda of fish because of the size. My 70 gallon (when I had it) had a dwarf lionfish, maroon clowns, blenny, cardnials, damsel and chromis

-Yellow watchman goby and pistol shrimp (probs my favorite honestly - my YMG is hilarious)

did you introduce both ur dwarf angels together? i am wanting to do 2-3 dwarfs

How is the tomini doing? That's on my list but haven't gotten it yet. Likely adding last to my 75 gallon.

My other option is kole tang, but my lfs is recommending tomini.

All fish except the chromis went in at the same time as juveniles. No issues with any of them. They all get fed 8 small meals a day via APEX/Plank AF which keeps them all happy and away from corals and each other.

You could house a one-spot foxface in a 75. The others will outgrow it.
I also have a 75, this is what I have:
Scopas tang
Kohl tang
green halichores wrasse
falco hawkfish
ocellaris clown
firefish goby
3 bluegreen chromis
tailspot blenny

A lot of the really neat exotics are going to be too big for a 75, but pipefish, some frogfish, etc would be really neat. Dwarf angels will too, but make sure that your aquascape provides for separate areas they can claim as their own, spaced out swim lanes and caves/sleeping/hiding places for each.

I keep a nano tank (25 gal) currently but would like to get a larger system with lots of smaller fish eventually.
Current fish that I have that I find to be more unique would be:

• Possum Wrasse (Mine likes to cruise around the tank)
• Cryptic Wrasse (aka Pink Streaked Wrasse. Cool but also hides most of the time)
• Pygmy Rooster Waspfish (Similar to lionfish and has venomous dorsal spines, but only grows to 2-3 inches and is a total puppy dog. Can also be kept in pairs or trios)

Other fish that I haven’t kept but might work for you would be some type of hawk fish (long nose, geometric pygmy, falco, flame).
Some type of pistol shrimp goby pair could also work if you’re into that sort of thing.
I’d also personally love to get a Mandarine pair but I’m waiting for a larger tank for that. There are also red dragonets too that I think look cool.
