I have a fairly new (~2 months old) 38 gallon tank and am trying to plan out how many fish and inverts could safely fit in it. As of now I only have a clownfish and an emerald crab but I'd like to start adding some other fish soon as well as a more robust clean up crew. My ideal eventual stocking list is:
Pair of Clownfish
Pair of Pajama Cardinals
Yasha Shrimp Goby & Pistol Shrimp
Tailspot Blenny for algae control
Cleaner Shrimp
Emerald Crab
Various snails and hermits

Does this seem like too much bioload? I don't have any experience with saltwater to know what the limits are.

Hello and Welcome!

Here is R2R article I find helpful:

I've 3 emerald crabs and killed 2 snails and caught 1 eating my hammer corals last night. Right now trying to catch at night to move to sump. I'm an overfeeder, so they should NOT need to be misbehaving this way... Not a fan of your above suggesting adding 2 emerald crabs into your 38g

LIst looks good. You can probably add the other clown fish with no other issues right now.
