Stocking for 300 Gallon reef

i have a 300 gallon reef tank. it looks kinda empty so i was thinking i could get more fish. here are the fish it currently has

2 ocellaris clowns
2 fire gobies
1 green wrasse
1 coral beauty
1 sunburst anthias

how many more fish can i get and what types of fish should i get?

You can get so many more fish. I have a 310 gallon, below is my current stock list.

2 Yellow Tangs
Hippo Tang
White Tail Tang
Sailfin Tang
Purple Tang
Fox face
Aiptasia Filefish
2 B. Cardinals
2 Mandarin Gobies
Marble Wrasse
Midas Blenny
Tailspot Blenny
Purple Psuedochromis
2 Blue Green Chromis
3 Bartlets Anthias
Royal Gramma
Lawn mower blenny

The tank still feels empty, I plan on adding:

Bimac Anthias
Pyramid Butterflies
More Wrasses
A reef safe angel or two.

Maybe more after depending on nutrient levels.

How are all of those tangs getting along? Planning a 270 and want a similar list

My 300g had ~50 fish, 8 tangs. No worries about stocking. Fill it, but QT fish!

I love it! I have 18 fish in my 90 gallon right now. Upgrading to a 84"x30"x25" in a few months. I have a hippo and yellow now but would love to add an achilles, PBT, purple, and white cheek but I know the risks of that many Acanthurus. I'm glad to hear you have 50 fish with no issues! My take is the more fish the less aggressive they'll be and it'll be more spread out between all of the fish. I also keep my fish extremely well fed.

Yes to chocolate and yes to mimic. Same fish, as a juvenile, it looks like a lemon peel angel. The transition is quite amazing.

Yes. In fact after initial aggressive I seldom noticed any. Might need this sometimes?

Interesting! The chocolates Ive seen are usually more brown in the face! Crazy how different they can look
