Hey everyone, looking for some feedback. I will preface with saying the Naso and Blue Tang will eventually be going into a larger system once they get bigger but they were rescues and they're still only about 4" each. Looking for feed back and suggestions for my 150 gallon tank

Current Fish I already have

2 x Mocha Clowns
Falco Hawkfish
One Spot Foxface
Naso Tang
Blue Tang
Powder Blue Tang

Looking for suggestions on additional fish.
Looking at 2 wrasses and a small school of anthias if possible.

Hi,

If I may suggest, I would stay with what you have. How long have you had all the fish in the tank? The PB and Blue are finicky. If they thrive over then next month or so, then I would go ahead and add.

Are you doing QT? If so, then a wrasse like carpenter may be nice. Anthias take a lot of care as does the PB. I would make sure what you have settles in, then add.

Just a thought.

I've had all the tangs together in my frag tank until i get this tank up and running, they've done surprisingly well, the PB was a bully for the first week but has since calmed down. They've been together for about 3 months now without issue.

All my fish have gone through a full medicated qt, as well as all coral and inverts in my systems.

The foxface, hawkfish, and clowns are in a separate display, and I've had all those for about 6 months. The tangs are in a separate system

If it were left to me:

x2 Mocha Clowns

x1 Falco Hawkfish

x1 One Spot Foxface

x1 Powder Blue Tang

x1 Yellow / Purple / Gem Tang

x1 Bristletooth Tang of some kind (Tomini, Kole, Squaretail, White Tail etc.)

x2-3 (pair or harem) of dwarf angels

x2 Watanabei, Bellus or Spotbreast Angels or x2 CB Poma Labs Singapore Angels

A few wrasses

And you’re set IMO.

The angels would be coral safe? That’s my biggest issue with them

None of them are 100% reef safe but the Genicanthus are planktivores. Centropyge are a bit of a gamble though some are better than others. Poma Labs ones I’m not sure, but if you’re overly concerned about corals angels probably aren’t the best choice. I just love them and can’t imagine not having them but that’s me.
