So, I am thinking about setting up a 80g tank and was thinking about a stocking list and came up with a few ideas for fish:
-2 clowns
-two spot bristletooth tang or kole tang
-flame angelfish
-Lubbock’s fairy wrasse
-exquisite wrasse
-4 banggai cardinals

Opinions please

I like the list. I agree that the cardinals will probably end up a pair. Banggai cardinals mostly float around peacefully, but can be really nasty if they want to.

Thanks but my LFS told me they were a schooling group fish but I agree with you

I recently got a pair of those cardinals and ended up with 2 males. One currently hides all the time and gets chased all over the tank every time the other one sees him. They're jerks. He's going to my LFS the second I can get him out of the tank. I'd stick with a known bonded pair or just get one.

Thanks I take the advice and update you when I get it all

One of the reasons that many people say they're schooling fish is that if you can get one male and one or more females they're totally chill. And even better, if you have a Long Spine urchin they'll hang out with the urchin between its spines, especially when they're young, and that's totally awesome to see. But if you accidentally get multiple males...
