So I’m new to reef keeping and I’m looking for some cool reef safe fish.
What I have
A vlamingii tang and a percula clown that I was given
And I also have a a percula clown I’m quarantining and a yellow watchman gobie
I’m also considering a six line wrass
I also want a hawk fish but i don’t know what species I’m thinking maybe a long nose hawk fish
Let me know if these fish would work together or if I should add any other fish to the list

The vlamingi REALLY needs a bigger tank. Like BARE minimum twice as big. I've seen vlamingis IRL pushing 2 feet long. It wouldn't even be able to turn around in an 80 gallon tank fully grown.

The vlamingii I will end up probably in a year or 2 upgrading the tank to a bigger size but I was given the tang by a family member who was taking down one of there tanks

I don't want to harp on it, but even just this week going to my LFS they had a returned vlamingi in one of their 180g displays, and it was apparently only about a year and a half in the hobbyists tank who returned it and well over a foot long. It looked uncomfortable and far too big for their 180 gallon.

How about a flame hawk? That's a mad personable species.

Are flame hawk fish aggressive
Also do hawkfish bother your clean up crew or will it harass the watchman gobie

I heard they're peaceful for the most part for larger tanks, they just like to perch on the rock work alot.

You will need a minimum 300 gallon tank for that fish… it gets 2 feet. And yes Ive seen 2 feet vlamingis in people’s tanks… I would rehome. Unicorn tangs grow so fast, you want be able to last a year let alone two depending on tank size.

Yes hawks eat shrimps.

This. They get so big so fast. Unicorn tangs grow like crazy.

The person who I got the tang from had it for 3 years in a 50 gallon tank . When they got it it was like the size of a quarter

Thats awful. I would urge you to research fish before putting them in the tank or on your list, a vlamingi doesnt belong in a 50 gallon let alone a 80 gallon tank.
