So I wasjust wondering if I can get some input/ideas for fish to add to my tank. My tank a 90 gallon mostly LPS tank. My current fish are:

(2) clownfish
(1) yellow watchman goby
(1) rabbit fish
(1) Hoven's wrasse
(1) mimic lemmonpeel tang
(1) banggai cardinalfish
(1) baby snowflake eel

I have been thinking of adding a purple tang but I was worried about compatibility with the mimic tang. I also really like wrasses and was wondering if there are any wrasses that I could add a harem of. Most of the fish I havestay in the lower 2/3 of the tank so I was wondering if anyone has suggestions for fish that would stay closer to the top. I am also trying to find fish that would add some red and blues to the tank.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The looks good, 2 tangs in a 90 may be tough, but the mimic and a purple are of different Genera, so even though there will likely be some aggression, it shouldnt be too bad.

Nearly any of the flasher and fairy wrasses will work to provide the colors and activity at the top you are looking for, though I personally would add different species, instead of a harem of one species, as females tend to transition to males in aquaria, even when a male is present.

TJ, thanks for the comments. Assuming I don't do the purple tang how many fairy/flasher wrasses do you think I could add with my current bioload?

3-5 should be fine.

TJ, in your opinion would these wrasses get along in a 90 gallon

Red head Solon fairy C. Solorensis
Exquisite fairy C. Exquisitus
Long fin fairy C. Rubriventralis
Scott's fairy C. Scottorum

They should get along, though scotts are the most aggressive of the group, so I would add him last. I also recommend using a social acclamation box when adding wrasses.
